Licensed Therapist/Counselor

Part-Time Employment and Contract Work available! Must have Masters Degree in Social Services field. Active LCSW and/or LPC required!

Must pass full background check and must complete all credentialing prior to seeing clients; can take up to 30days.

He/She will provide clinical counseling services to individuals, families, or groups in the areas of individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and parenting education, substance abuse therapy and family preservation services.

Maintain own client appointment schedule. Ensure availability for client appointments according to agreed upon schedule. Verify appointments.

Identify all treatment services delivered for proper ICD9 & CPT coding and billing.

Identify and provide emergency crisis services as necessary; make immediate clinical assessments and respond according to accepted crisis intervention methods and techniques; coordinate other services as appropriate.

Maintain license and/or certification as required by state regulations and contract requirements. Stay current in the field of Mental Health, Counseling, Homelessness and related social services
• Network with other professionals in the field
• Read related periodicals and websites
• Attend training to enhance knowledge and training skills

EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling - Required. LPC and or LCSW - Required.

EXPERIENCE: 1 – 3 years counseling experience; to include Family, Group, Individual, In Home and Crisis Therapy.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Drivers License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

LANGUAGES: English required. Spanish preferred

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
